OUR STORY

Hamilton Tennis Academy was established in 2008 and has been offering lessons in different locations throughout the Waikato. Now we are mostly based in Hamilton and Raglan.

At HTA, we coach kids between the ages of 5 and 18 years old, from beginners to high performance players, adults and anyone who wants some help to improve. Our general goal is to give our players opportunities for greater recreational skills, to learn a sport that lasts a lifetime and to connect with others by doing something they enjoy. For those who are high achievers, there is the chance to gain scholarships in the United States.

We are based at St Peters Tennis Club (Palmerston st), Hamilton Squash and Tennis Club (HSTC on Tristram st) and the Raglan tennis courts (Park Drive). View maps

I also work as a offical tennis umpire for NZTA as well as a court supervisor and have been a ball boy twice at the ASB classic. Tennis is quite a popular sport in my family as all of us play, sometimes with one another if we can be civil.
